The vocals and lyrics were written and recorded by Tim of Types. This is a novelty song and an homage, I have no illusions of actually sounding like the eternal David Bowie.
The backing track is from 'Vampires of Human Flesh,' a bootleg of outtakes from David Bowie's 'Scary Monsters.' Appearing on the bootleg under the title 'Is There Life After Marriage,' the song is actually an instrumental attempt at covering the Cream song 'I Feel Free.' I say attempt because what they ended up with isn't said Cream song. Bowie later released a cover of 'I Feel Free' on 'Black Tie/White Noise.'
