73 78 Honey (rework of Philip Glass/Beck)

This song is adapted from Beck's masterful 'NYC 73 78' remix of Philip Glass. My vocals are all original except for the '73 78' part at the end (which is me singing over Beck).

Essentially it's a remix of a remix with new vocals.

You can find Beck's original remix here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaKrnjY8LiY

To bring it home
you're the only one ever loved, honey.
And I don't ever wait.
Always comin' back in for more-
my lord- cause you were always there honey.
But I was far away
gettin' fucked up like a little blue sky
I know, my eye, twitch slow.
I didn't honey, oh honey.
And bring home
whatever's left of my money.
And all the thousand ways,
and all the promises
and oh never fulfilled and come outta oh sed'neh
babe un run to de old even one.
And I would never sit alone to be wrong, to be wrong.
I'd never seen no more to be wrong to be wrong
to be write it now, write it down.
Baby that it's right that I be I and you be you
lend me a song and I'll sing it back into the bowl,
you know,
that I could never be honey.
And I don't ever wait.
And comin' outta this oh,
I won't,
and this'll never be honey.
And hope I'm not too late,
cause I don't ever wanna run.
And you know it's not time to begin the begine.
"I was living in a wasteland"
I know.
"Dominated by these maniacs."
I know.
"I was almost killed a few times."
I- I know.
"There were six or seven cab drivers round about here."
You never know- I can't help it now,
and I never wanna go back there again.
Whenever I see your face, I always fall apart, and I always come-
there's somethin' wrong.
And I could smoke your ashes up.
73 78.
